2009 CONFERENCE
Knoxville Metropolitan Convention Center
Knoxville, Tennessee

October 27-29, 2009
(Pre-Conference Workshops start October 26)

Good times and good friends await you in Knoxville, a modern Appalachian city with great dining, nightlife, museums, shopping, family fun and championship sports. (http://www.knoxville.org/)

This is your portal for information about the Region VII Conference. Let's start with your Session Proposal submissions below. This page will then change to bring you Conference Registration, Awards applications and nominations, as well as information about hotels and the Knoxville area. In September, we will also post the Conference schedule itself.

CONFERENCE SESSION PROPOSAL SUBMISSION FORM

A key NAFSA trademark is our willingness to share expertise and experience with colleagues in order to enhance the professional development of our organization as a whole. To this end, we encourage you to consider being a session presenter at our regional conference this year. Please use this form to submit a specific proposal. You are welcome to submit more than one proposal, and collaboration among knowledge communities is encouraged.

Here are some tips on How to Create a Successful Conference Session Proposal.

Presenters submitting session proposals prior to Friday, June 19, 2009, which are subsequently accepted for presentation, will receive $40 off the cost of the conference registration. Proposals must be complete. Discount will apply to up to 4 (four) presenters for panel presentations.

Confirmation of acceptance of session proposals will go out in mid-August. Lead Presenters will then be required to submit their PowerPoint presentation (preferably saved in Adobe Acrobat PDF format) in October.

EARLY BIRD SESSION PROPOSAL DEADLINE: Friday, JUNE 19, 2009
REGULAR SESSION PROPOSAL DEADLINE: Friday, JULY 10, 2009
